I don’t know if you’ve heard yet, but Pepsi recently announced they have a new tagline: That’s What I Like.
I mean… are they serious?
How many college degrees did it take to come up with that one?
Not only is it boring, overly simple, and completely lacking in cleverness; there is nothing memorable about it.
And I know most folks probably couldn’t give two shits about this.
But as for me, I work in advertising and have always been mildly obsessed with learning about how companies use creativity to sell more (or less) of their products.
So, as you may have guessed by now, in today’s post, I’ve decided to take it upon myself to come up with some alternative taglines to help promote America’s favorite soda (hey, that’s a pretty good one already!).
Here we go:
- The Taste You Crave
- Pour. Sip. Enjoy.
- We Know We’re The Best
- It’s More Than Just Bubbles
- Crack Open a Smile
- Keep it Sweet
- Taste More
- Drink Like a Champion
- Celebrate More
- Tastes Like Home
- A Toast to You
- Time for a Drink
- You Made the Right Choice
- Tastes Like America
- Drink Up, America
- Pour a Glass of Happy
- Real Love Has Bubbles
- It’s All in the Fizz
- There’s Only 1 Winner
- Who Could Say No?
- It’s the Little Things
- The Drink that Gets You
- Sweeten Up Your Day
- Sippin’ in Style
- Honor Your Taste Buds
- The Best Things Are Worth Tasting
- Drink Legendary
- Greatness Never Dies
- Make Something that Lasts
