Forgive me for being ignorant, but why are so many food manufacturers able to fuck up production on this level with all the technology/ resources available to them in this day and age?
I don’t know about you, but I find it completely unacceptable for these major corporations to essentially poison their customers time and time again.
Now, to be fair, I don’t believe Fresh Express is a repeat offender (correct me if I’m wrong, though). That said, I would like to know what degree of oversight led to their food being recalled for listeria contamination, and I’d also like to see the responsible parties held accountable, whether that’s by losing their job(s), paying a fine, or even serving time.
Sorry, but when you fuck with our food, that shouldn’t be taken lightly.
